The CYCA has found that there is a definite need for some way of advertising for a new player or team.

For example, many times a new PLAYER has moved to Calgary and is looking for assistance in locating a team to play on.

Also, we have occasions when a TEAM is looking for a new player and needs a method of advertising their need.

Even COACHES need to advertise sometimes!!!

New to Calgary, Assembling Juvenile Team

We are new to the Calgary - Red Deer corridor and are trying to put together a Female Juvenile curling team. We are looking for girls born in 1993 or 1994. May consider 1992s but they age out for some events down the road. 2009 would be a learning year with 2010 and 2011 being good competitive years. IF things work out beyond that would also be great .Are you the right person??? Both the player and parents need to have good morals ,commitment ,willing to practice, willing to travel (lots) and dedicated to teammates and the sport. Eligible to play in the Alberta Winter Games

I am a 15 year old girl eligible to play in the Alberta Winter Games for Calgary District 3. My accomplishments include the 2006 Juvenile Provincial Champion, the 2006 Ray Kingsmith winner, the silver medalist at the 2006 Optimist Juvenile Internationals and 2nd after the Round Robin at the Junior Provincials in 2006. I also won the AWG gold medal in 2004 and would be interested in competing at the Alberta Winter Games playdowns this season for my last year.  Please contact Heather at 815-2324
